It's a sad fact, but the biggest growth area in business opportunity activities is the proliferation of schemes designed to separate the unwary from their cash.
If you doubt my word, pick up a copy of just about any publication carrying 'bizopps' advertising and you will still see - among other dubious offers - variations of the infamous envelope stuffing scam mentioned further down the page.
Before sending any money to companies offering 'well-paid' work -
- filling or preparing envelopes paying a £1 (or more) each
- assembling things like mobile phone covers, printed circuit boards or water filters
- moulding, casting or painting model cottages, lighthouses, quaint Olde English pubs, castles or whatever
or who:
- supply directories of firms 'crying out for genuine homeworkers',
- ask them if they are willing to take the BIZ-Banana.com challenge.
It's quite simple, really. All they have to do is prove to ME that they are genuine; that the rates they advertise are actually paid; that finished work will not be cynically rejected as not measuring up to the 'required standard'.
Let me make it plain right now. If any company CAN prove to my satisfaction that they are the real McCoy, I will unreservedly recommend them to my readers and let them have a full-page advertisement, totally free... for a full year
For a first person account of my own unfortunate experience, read the following cautionary tale and you may realise why I don't expect to be playing host to too many non-paying guests.
